Unlisted cruises/private cruises

I'm looking to book a cruise 9/10/18 on the dream. We usually book through Costco to get the cash card, however the cruise isn't listed on their website (it's only on the DCL website). I spoke to Costco and they called DCL - the cruise exists and supposedly it just isn't in Costco's system yet. I've read on here how there are sometimes special cruises held for DVC or other private groups. I want to be sure this isn't one of those and I might loose the room I'm booking. We like the 12512 concierge room so I would be really disappointed if our cruise was changed and we had to change rooms. Has anyone encountered this where only Disney has a cruise posted? Do they ever change a cruise later to become a private cruise? Thanks!

Have you looked on any other TA websites, like Expedia or CruiseCritic to see if that cruise is listed there? If so, you'll know it's a Costco glitch. If not, then there might be other reasons it's not there.

Excellent idea! I'm so used to Costco I didn't even think of that lol. I'll check now. :)

Also, it shows up on the Canadian version of Costco, which uses all the same systems, so I'm thinking it's just a glitch in their U.S. version.

No problem. Good luck. It showed your room, 12512 is available. Just phone Costco. They should be able to phone DCL and book it for you.

If it's truly a chartered/private cruise then it won't show on DCL's website either. There have been reports recently that Costco's website hasn't fully uploaded all cruises for some odd reason. You can book it direct and transfer within 30 days.

Enjoy your cruise!

Did you also search logged in, or as a guest? I just discovered, through a DIS thread, that there was a glitch in prices shown when you're just viewing as a guest, and not signed in with your membership #. Just a thought that came across my mind. :) But I agree, just call Costco Travel, and they can probably access it.
