Unlimited Photo Package

Hi everyone,

I’m looking to purchase the unlimited photo package for my cruise in October. I understand that these are all digital downloads but do they include a print release? Are there ample photo opportunities to make this worth it? Do they still do the print photos at Shutters if I decide not to do the package?

It is all digital. I'm sure you have the ability to buy some on the ship, but buying digital you can wait for a deal from Shutterfly or somewhere else and print your own. As for the photos, you have to make an effort to make it worth your while, including meeting characters, getting individual pictures before dinner, during dinner, etc.

I have never had an issue printing with Shutterfly. I usually make a nice photo album, and sometimes print singles + magnets.

We got 187 photos on our 7 night sailing in May. Very glad I got the package because I love having photos of both of us together! We made a point of getting photos each night before dinner because we had the package. It took around 15-20 minutes and it meant we were ready for dinner and near the MDRs on time rather than rushing around.

There are around 4 photo backdrops in the atrium each night, some nights photographers came around at dinner but that was hit-or-miss (we had them twice on this cruise, on our previous cruise we had photographers during dinner every night). On our sea day, there were photographers doing magic shots on deck - the times were listed in the app.

If you don't get the package in advance, you can buy it on board (but it costs more), or you can buy individual photos at Shutters. We could also access photos on a webpage that was available on board rather than having to go to Shutters.
