We will be sharing our time amongst three different resorts over about 2 1/2 weeks. Because we are staying at different resorts does this mean that we have to buy three different unlimited park hopper tickets or will one be vaild for our entire stay?

We were planning on just buying annual passes, however, I didn't realise DVC members got a discount on unlimited park hoppers. Plus I like the idea of being able to go to PI and the water parks (Premium annual pass is a bit too pricey).

I also read in another thread that the price of Unlimited park hoppers does not increase over 10 days. Is this correct coz on another web site it quotes the pice for 13 days.

Thanks

The DVC discount on the UPH is only good when you are staying at a DVC resort. (The exception might be if you are using points at another WDW resort you still get the discount but I'm not 100% sure on that one.) That may figure into your plans.

If all your resorts are DVC, you might be able to avoid paying twice for the same day. You do need to purchase it at each resort for the days you will be staying at that resort. There is no cut-off where they stop charging. If you stay 25 days, you pay for 25 days.

DVC does give a discount on PI and water park tickets as well. You might want to price out the AP with individual purchases of PI and water park tickets.

We are in the same situation in a couple of weeks. We are at BWV's Mon thru Thurs. Then VWL Fri Sat (cash not points) then back to BWV's for the next week. My wife and I have annual passes but my 16 year old son wants to do the water parks and disney quest so the UPH made more sense for him. I called member services and asked if I can get 1 continuous pass they said I would have to arrange that at the front desk when I arrived
Not wanting any surprises I called the front desk at BWV's and they were very helpful. I explained I wanted a 10night 11 day UPH and explained my room reservations. She said she had to check with "operations", she did and came back saying it would be no problem, She explained that they would issue me 3 tickets at the same time 1 for 1st BWV stay, 1 for VWL stay and 1 for the 2nd BWV stay, she did caution me to be very careful with the tickets and only use them at the correct times. Cost will be $453.39 after DVC disc. and taxes.

As an aside I also want to use the Boat and Bike plan $249.00 for a family of 5 for the lenght of your stay, I called the Yacht Club Marina and asked the same question and they also said no problem, but it was only valid at that marina. I'll do a trip report when we get back and let you know how we make out.
I'll be glad to answer any questions, Rob::MickeyMo

I recommend you evaluate your ticket options using the AllEarsNet.com AP breakeven analysis . I expect that you will find that buying regular APs is most cost efficient, since you also get an AP discount when purchasing Disney Quest tix or APs. Even the PAPs plus a DQ AP will be cheaper than UPHs even after the DVC (10%) discount. According to Deb it takes only 13 days of UPH to match the PAP price.
