First timer....Taking my daughter this weekend to celebrate her 10th bday and she is finishing the last Harry Potter book. We are mostly going for all things HP, but sure we’ll enjoy most all of it.

Landing Saturday 8am, leaving Monday night. Planning to purchase the 2 day park to park with the 3 day bonus and go 1/2 day Monday.

Funds to buy 1 day of the unlimited pass, planning to do this on Sunday. Is it good for both parks w park to park passes or do we need one for each park.

Also, tell me more about the Wand experience...a friend mentioned this to her. Thank you!!

You can buy it for one park or both parks. You can also wait to buy it until you are actually there. Takes just a few minutes.

With an interactive wand, you will get a map directing you to the places in the HP area where simple hand gestures with the wand will make various things happen. There are also a couple of secret spells to cast. It is in this forum somewhere. Probably someone else can tell you where.

Check the rates for the 3 hotels that offer express pass with your stay. It might work out cheaper that way.

We found it cheaper to stay onsite than pay for express pass separately. But then we were there in June.
