One of the questions on the new Disney survey asks for feedback about a hypothetical offering by Disney of unlimited FASTPASSES for $150.00.

Would you be interested if they ever were to offer this?

Personally,I think I would just continue to collect FASTPASSES the "old-fashioned" way.:)

$150.00 is ALOT of Mickey Premium Ice Creams!:)

If it was good for the entire stay I might consider it. It would add $600 to my bill so it is a bit much. It would depend on the budget that year and also depend on how the new system affected the fast pass lines.

Universal does it and people pay it. I'm sure people will also pay for it at Disney.

I'm sure there are some who will do this, but at $150 per person per day, probably not many. Probably not many more than can do the VIP tour guide.

What I really DON'T want to see them do is to sell it for much less. At $50 to $75 a head, more people would do it, pushing back regular FP times and availability. FP's would run out even sooner. That would really upset the balance.

I hope we never even see this offered.

I'm wondering why Disney hasn't done what Universal does and only offer the fastpasses to onsite guests, while making offsite people pay. I stay off site and would probably be tempted to stay back onsite if they put that into place. It makes sense to me and would add to the on-site benefits.

I'm not sure what the statistics are though for people who stay off site. Still, a lot of people aren't aware fastpass is for everyone.

I would rather just get up early every day and use a good touring plan. I've always ridden every ride I've wanted to, including multiple re-rides, using this strategy.

The cut rent fast pass system works so well I would hate to see them change it.

There are some things I draw a limit too. $150 is a lot of money to go to the head of the line especially when the line is 10-15 minute wait.

I pay extra for my room, extra for AP I refuse to pay extra for FP's I would rather stay an extra day ot two.

I think 6 Flags does something like this also. DD has bought one the last 2 summers, altho all the kids had the free tickets from the reading program. It was good for all in the party tho not just per person.

All depends on the time of year I was going. If for some strange reason we decided to go in the summer, no doubt. I'd pay it and stay at a value resort to off set the difference.

If we were to go in non peak seasons as we normally do, no...I wouldn't buy it.

no. I would just change my touring plans. Even without fp's we see the biggies in the morning.

I'm going to move this over to our rumors board.

Since we tend to visit when school is out (our next trip is Easter), I would purchase unlimited FASTPASSES.

:confused3

It appeared the question was way more about strategy and not about a rumor, but rather a hypothetical (as the OP stated), but obviously, thats not my call.

The good thing about WDW is (like a cruise), you can plemty of things to save money in one place if you wnated to "invest" it in another. You could chose to stay off grounds to save money, you could chose to drive to WDW (depending on where you live), you could chose to downgrade in resort quality, remove water park & fun option etc.

It would definitely be a costly perk, but I think it could definitely be worth it.

You guys don't get it. You wouldn't need to by 4 of the UNLIMITED Fastpasses. That doesn't even make sense. If they are unlimited why would you need to buy more than one? You can get as many FP's as you want with just that one Unlimited FP for $150, not $300, not $450, not $600, $150.

I'd be willing to bet if this were to be implemented, FP distribution wouldn't be done at the FP machines, but probably with some type of card like the GAC, or a seperate turnstyle at each attraction (or some other type of process to insure each individual had purchased the unlimited pass.) If FP distribution was done the same way, my party of 30 could divide up the costs among everyone and I just get 30 FP's at each machine. I trust WDW is smarter than that.

I would guess they would be unlimited to one person, possibly linked to your room key/park ticket and it would only issue one FP per person for the time period under program.

In either case I think it is unlikely they will even implement a system like this. Right now the variations between "front of the line" programs is selling point for each park (Disney - Free with Ticket Purchase but tickets are more expensive overall versus Universal - Free if staying on site or can be purchased at a cost but tickets are less expensive overall).
