So, today I realized that in 2 years im going to be in University. It's actually sad because it feels like life is passing me by. I mean it feels like just yesterday I was trying to decide between chocolate chip cookies and oatmeal raisin cookies. Now im deciding what I want to major in.
Anyways, im having a hard time because I only have 8 months to decide what I want a major in. Is anyone else have these problems. [not problems...dilemmas].

Well, I've got like three years.
But gosh.
I'm not passionate about like ANYTHING. I have no idea what I want to do. I've been kind of thinking something in broadcasting (tv and radio) or something at an airport.
And I'm so concerned about the money and everything.
I want to do the Intl. Program, but I can't take a year off, I have to do the college program or I don't get my scholarships. But if I do that, I have to go to Ryerson.. which is kind of far away and in a big city. And working for Disney, you don't go home for Christmas.
I'm at a loss.
But I just remind myself, I've still got a few years.

I can't wait!
I want to do something with Graphic Design or video game design.
And of course major in creative writing or english literature.
But I also plan on doing the disney college program and maybe get a permanent job there if I like it enough.

trust me when i say...IT GOES BY WAY TOO FAST!

I can't believe I'm already in my second semester of university!!!

It's REALLY stressful and confusing to pick your programmes & apply to universities (especially when you have to do auditions and interviews!) but it's totally worth it when you get that acceptance letter.

Try not to stress TOO much about it! You want to enjoy high school while you still have the chance!

i think i may become a translator. i'm passionate about languages. thats about it, to be honest. i'm working on French right now. i plan to also learn Spanish, Italian, Japanese, and mandarin. I want to learn more than that, but thats all on the top of my head. it would be neat to work for the UN, as a translator.

I just finished with all those stresses a couple months ago. All my applications are out and I'm now just waiting on acceptance/rejection letters. You do have a while though. Don't let the stress build up now.

Start planning early so you don't have to rush and do everything last minute (kind of what I experienced). It saves a lot of your sanity!!

And also remember, doing in undecided isn't wrong or bad either. It might set you back a year or two, depending on what you decide to major in, but that's no biggie.

I thought you wanted to be an art teacher?

I actually consider myself lucky, because I know what I'd like to do WAY ahead of time. I might change my mind, though, considering I've got 3 or 4 years before I need to really think about it.

I know I want to go to a good school.

I know I want to be a lawyer.

I probably want to major in English, maybe creative writing? I love creative writing.

I also know that I want to be in whatever college I go to's orchestra program. But not major in music.

I was reading the info booklet for the University of Guelph and wow, its like really hard to understand. I've actually decided that im going to major in english or psychology.

if i were to become a teacher, i would wnat to be an art teacher. but thats such a hard field to get into. most schools are downsizing their art programs. i would love to be a private tutor on the side, if that would ever work out. but i dunno.

Eh, ive been in college for 2 and a half years....

I've changed my major 4 times....

I'm not too crazy about anything right now. Psychology is something that I would like to major in. I would like to major in Forensic science but I hate science and dead bodies; so that just won't work. I also really enjoy US history.

I know for sure I won't major in math.

I'll be going to U of A either in May or August, and I have no idea what I'll be majoring in. I'm not thinking past my 2 year degree right now. I'll think about the future when it comes to that.

Good luck.

I knew my freshman year of high school I wanted to be a history major. First semester of my sophomore year I declared my history major with a concentration on American. I also double minored in Biology and English Literature.
Now I am in graduate school getting a double masters in American and Modern European History.
Once you have figured out what your passion is, it is pretty easy to stay with it.

blahh, all my applications are due on Wednesday, but I sent them off a week ago. I have no idea if i want to do sciences, or social sciences, so I think I applied to like 18 programs at 6 different schools (UofT, York, Mac, Guelph, Laurier, Waterloo). At least now I have until May to decide what I want to do.

College is awesome. :)

I knew I wanted to be a history major, and declared the major by the end of my freshman year. I am also extremely passionate about theatre, so I had declared a minor.
This year, I realized I have enough room in my schedule to be a double major. I can't tell you how good it felt to declare the double major. I am a proud Thistory major (Theatre/History, haha).

Oh, I still really don't know what I want to do with my life, but I am dedicated and interested in what I am currently studying!

probably not guelph, i only applied for one program there, I think it was like food and nutrition sciences, and i dont think i wanna do that lol im leaning towards Mac or Laurier lol
