Why would you need 10% off multi day passes if you already had a annual pass?

It's still a mystery.Thanks. Do you know exactly when Harry Potter is scheduled to open? Or is that still a mystery?
The tickets that have already been purchased should be fine. I doubt seriously they can charge you the difference now but I could be wrong.Does anyone know how this will effect tickets already purchased? I bought tickets 1-2 years ago, Will Call, and have not yet picked them up..... they were good for 7 days, both universal parks, and Wet n' Wild. They were $89, so I bought them..... knowing we would go to Universal after Potter opened.
Thanks all! I guess I should call Universal.

Thats a question for the Universal "powers that be."Why would someone pay $172 for a week pass when a power pass (for a whole year) is less than that?
Well said ... I'm so glad we've got AP's and will definitely keep them renewed too!!That's about what I expected and still I think it is reasonable compared with Disney. We've been getting away with crazy prices now for a long time! Disney has set the standard for prices and Universal is going to be able to charge similar prices now with HP.
Sounds like keeping my AP renewed will be the way to go with two visits a year.
Just looked at Universal's site, and the new ticket prices are already in effect. Too bad I couldn't afford the 2 park/7 day tickets before the price change. We'll still be going this year, can't wait to see the new WWoHP. My DW gets a discount on tickets through her work. Hopefully she can get us a great deal. If not, I guess I'll have to price shop around.
Wow!
I was going to buy tickets for a quick weekend trip for my children's birthdays.
Not anymore! I think this may drastically cut down on some of the "short trip" folks like me who live within easy driving distance (I am in Atlanta).

Check your AAA office and the DReams Unlimited Banner is still advertising $99.99 --- maybe check them out too.
