We don't know if that's an enforced policy. Transportation from Helios to the main entrance? Unlikely. Will they make you bus to citywalk then bus back to the main gate? They could be that mean.

My AP tickets for the first week don't have codes. It's in our wallet. Maybe scanning our AP will link everything. The park is supposed to be.using facial recognition for entry.
Thanks for confirming you're seeing the same thing I'm seeing :)!

That seems like a tough one - maybe in the Moring for opening - but I cant see them doing that all day.
For example if I leave the park and go to the bar at Helios would they then make me go to citiwalk and back? sounds crazy.
I would probably do this most days if the bar at Helios is any good - but not if I have to go all the way to Citiwalk and back.

How many people would go to the trouble of taking a bus from their hotel to citiwalk then a bus to helios just to use the helios entrance - I cant imagine its worth it - just take the bus from your hotel to Epic IMO.

I could see folks who take an uber to Epic try to take an uber to Helios instead - and they may want to stop that - maybe only people with Universal Hotel Keycards can use the entrance in the AM. Will be interesting.

They might just follow Disney's playbook; rideshare drop offs limited to registered guests and guests with dining reservations.

Our preview tickets in my wallet aren't showing a QR code like our APs do - just wondering about everyone else's & if this is normal. Trying to make sure we don't have to go to guest services or something before entering the park.
My tickets haven’t shown up in my wallet yet. I haven’t received an email confirmation either.

So for folks with a hotel reservation - can you buy the tickets in advance on line or is it only day of?

A previous post said it was day of based on availability.

That is what I'm thinking on the AP linked tickets. We have 3 AP's in our family. Bought tickets to 2 days in July. Out AP Epic tickets don't have codes. We then bought non-AP tickets for our older son who doesn't have an AP and his has a QR code. So I'm guessing it'll be facial if you have that set up, or scan the AP if you don't. Probably their way to make sure AP priced Epic tickets aren't being used for non-AP holders.

I have two nights booked at Sapphire Falls for our pre cruise trip but bought Epic preview tickets yesterday. I feel like I should switch to Helios. It will be a pain though having to bus to VB, IOA or US. Decisions, decisions....

Now that I have a preview day and a regular day plus express, I think my plan will be to try to ride the 3 rides that don't have express during preview day, then use rest to just enjoy the park and maybe do another ride or two. Then on my opening weekend day do the rest with express and not worry about the big 3

It wouldn't shock me if they're trying to keep Helios as exclusive as possible to those only staying there, espeically with things like the $125 parking fee for non guests.
Disney guests have attempted to park in resorts in order to obtain preferential park access.

Universal is telling guests OK, pay up.

Oh no! Ours showed within 10 minutes after the purchase.

Did you take a screenshot of the confirmation number? You can show that along with the required IDs to pick up the tickets at the hotel.

Since Epic opens late during the previews, we were thinking of taking an Uber from Portofino to Helios to eat (and drinks 🍸🍷), then use the dedicated entrance for the park. If that's not allowed then the plan is scrubbed.

There was a message at the top of the queue that said that it may take a while to recieve purchases. I finished my order at 145pm and just recieved my email at 1030am and the tickets are now in my wallet.

I'd expect that dedicated entrance is reserved only for HELIOS guests as it's a major perk of that hotel.

I do have a screenshot of the confirmation number. I also received email confirmation this morning. The tickets are still not in my wallet.

It is definitely going to be tough. We were planning Universal one of the days that we are planning our trip. So we head to the hotel early in the morning to see if tickets will be available for Epic Universe and hold off buying the Universal tickets. UGH! It is a planning NIGHTMARE!
Yes- such a planning nightmare. I really wish they would just send hotel guests a link- then maybe you have to show your room key to get in with the ticket. We have a Disney trip in a couple weeks. My son (16) has a Universal AP because his was purchased after ours and had the 15 months. Mine & DH let ours expire since we wouldn’t be going back to Universal for 6 months. We bought him an AP preview ticket and are now *hoping* DH and I will be able to get a ticket at the hotel. I’m going to stress about it at least until some reports start coming in on availability.

Yeah - we will have to wait and see what happens - I cant see them blocking folks out other than in the morning and I cant see them turning away folks for dinner and drinks etc..

I am really looking forward to that bar on the top floor and if they make it difficult to access then that will be a major disappointment for me
