Ministry of Magic ride feels like it might be their Rise, curious how it’s going to work out.

Also curious about how they pulled in Radcliffe and co. Are they using archived footage from a decade ago? CGI? Or maybe they got them to work again and use de-aging tech?

Looks great!

They'll probably use old footage that they already have. Daniel has been very vocal about not being involved in current/future HP projects.

Later date is very amorphous. My AP expires in November and if I don't know how tickets will work by then I am not going to renew it.
My AP expires in May 2025 and I'm not renewing. I'm cool with waiting until 1 day Epic tickets release.

I'm speechless. It's amazing, I cannot wait to be there.
I'm super hyped both for the show and the attracion. I've been to see Imelda Staunton in Hello Dolly in the West End a couple of weeks ago and I'm even more excited to see her again as Umbridge.
Keeping all fingers crossed it'll be open in September next year when I'll be there. If one land is delayed, it has to be this one. That attraction seems Epic but also very ambitious. I'd be happy even if they open the land without the attraction, just the show.

Do you mean as in the most popular ride of the land?

If talking about what it is as in the mechanics I got Tower of Terror because of the ride vehicle and it looks like maybe you are suspended in the air?? If it drops (which looks like it could) I'll have to see how much as Tower of Terror I no longer go on because of the drops.

It looks very cool regardless.

I'm glad they are doing an actual show like that, it might help absorb the crowds for a time. As is in existing HP lands they don't have an actual show, it's stage shows you can just stand (or sit if there's room) around it which is really nice for the ambience of being in the moment but tends to gum up the area especially Diagon Alley.

I'm guessing that they will use CGI and sound alikes as they did with Gringotts and the Hogwarts Express. Neither Daniel Radcliffe nor Emma Watson returned for those attractions.

Spitting in JKs face. Sad.

Anyway. Epic Universe will change the way my family vacations. Disney will be the add on experience. USO will be the focus. I predict selling my DVC within 3 years.

according to the rumored ticket options they are restricting people in the beginning regardless of being on-site or not
The ticket options aren't rumors. They are the options initially being offered to THIRD PARTY RESELLERS. PERIOD.

Your AP might give you a discount on EPIC only tickets.

More the mechanics but maybe the popularity as well. You might be right about the suspension though, I had pictured it like it was a trackless with the same lift elements of Rise but I could be wrong on that.

Interesting! Had no idea about that.

We're talking about what type of tickets will be available initially, as in the exact ones and what limitations/restrictions there will be, as well as the time frame in which they'll be around before more are available as Universal said in a phased approach. It's rumors because there's little to no information out there especially about what the limitations are (like how many days, can you double dip, etc).

Even though your last comment isn't directed to me Universal said tickets for APs would be available at a later date; posters with APs expiring next year are looking at if it's worth it to renew it based on limited information and timeline which I think is completely fair for someone to think about.
