Just wondering if anyone knew the price of a day ticket to universal/ islands of adventure I am looking at taking my daughter for just a day to see Harry potter only want a day as we got a full 14 days at Disney also do they do finger printing like disney?

Yes they do the finger scan.

One day tickets are not cheap and rarely discounted.Single park/One day admission is $92.00 an adult $86.00 a child ( up to age 9).A 2 park one day ticket is $128 an adult, $122 child

I would see if you can get those 3 day tickets from Costco for $145. You can use one day each year as they don't require consecutive visits.

Like most bargains from Costco, they don't exist anymore. The new Costco offer is a two day ticket park to park and City Walk. One of the days includes a VIP tour with front of line, behind the scenes views, etc. The cost is around $285.

A little off topic but Harry Potter is a small section of a really great theme park. Don't miss all the other cools areas they have to offer like the Jurassic Park area, Super Hero area, Seuss Landing...etc... Check out Universal's website for better details. They sell tickets on their site as well.
