Universal with a baby

I am considering a trip to Universal the weekend after Easter with my two daughters (23 and 17) and my 6 month old granddaughter and was wondering if we would be able to use the child swap since we all want to ride, but someone has to stay with the baby. For example, could we go to the child swap area and my two daughters could ride and then we would swap and I could ride with the 17 yo?

And can we take a stroller in some of the lines or will someone have to carry the baby?

Also, my daughter doesn't currently have a stroller, what are the rentals like? I mean, would a rental be comfortable for a 6 month old (she can't sit up on her own yet and I'm not sure if she'll be able to in a month)?

yes, all of you can use the baby swap system.

and, some of you will get to go back on the ride once you switch.

i have seen strollers in the ride lines before.
not the huge ones but more of the umbrella type ones.

from my friends that need a stroller, they rent from an outside source.

We've never been able to bring a stroller into line, even when the child/baby was asleep in the stroller. Maybe look into a carrier for lines?

Get an Ergo or Beco carrier for the baby. She's too little for a normal umbrella stroller even if you could bring it into the lines.

I second something like a Hip Hammock or Pea Pod. These are so easy to use, and really just an extension of having baby on your hip.

One of my favorite memories is of my dh having our 7 mo son in a Hip Hammock, carrying another baby, surrounded by friends' empty strollers, and at least one with a baby in it, while we took the toddlers on rides at Hershey Park. I wish I had taken a picture; it was precious. That baby is now 5'7" and taller than me and not quite in HS...
