It‘s completely fair for guest paying premium prices to get guaranteed access.

so they aren't factoring in hotel guests in the capacity for slots for AP holders? That kinda stinks if we have a registered ticket thingy but then they say no, it is too full

I read this as starting on June 5th. The onsite guests only on June 3rd and 4th won't be enough to close to capacity I don't think. Universal has so many fewer hotels than Disney, and 3 of them won't be open. And I just can not imagine the hotels that ARE open being full.

I don't think they'll be closing to capacity with ONLY hotel guests and APs with reservations. It just won't get there.

Hotels will clearly be at reduced occupancy. My bet it’s less than 50%.

Vegas is opening up on June 4. Most of the hotel towers that are opening are between 25-50% occupancy. And less than half of the casinos are opening up. Any hotel or resort that has amenities will be at reduced occupancy.

I think they had to include resort guests to break even on the costs of running the parks.

I think many will stay away from the parks the first week +, they are open.

If reports come back as the new system works ( masks required, no crowds, attentive staff, safety, etc) could be many will return if they feel well informed..

Since this is a new experience for all of us with world wide pandemic, it’s a guessing game of how to proceed for a theme park vacation.

Hmm, I feel the opposite. But what do any of us know? I want to go during the preview because I think that is the best case scenario of how things could be run. Maybe not in terms of speed of the TMs learning the new techniques and working out the kinks. But in terms of minimal number of people there. If I go and feel find social distancing, then I'll be back. If I don't like it then I know I need to wait several weeks or months to try again.

For peeps that don’t live local, no idea how many rescheduled their trips for early June opening week.

I had booked my UO hotel about 6 months ago and glad it was all set.
Took me until yesterday for finalizing my flights and there is always a possibility of the airline adjusts prior reservations.

I saw that temperature checks will be conducted on hotel arrival. What will they do if you traveled from far away if you have a fever? People fly on planes. Someone is bound to have a fever from various causes, some not even infectious. They can't just turn you away. What do you speculate the plan for that to be?

Premier hotels can contact hotel emt if need be if you are ill when you arrive to the hotel.

Pardon me, I meant would they give you access to your hotel room with a fever? Would they turn people away from the only place they can really go?

Prior to check in , I have no experience
but have become ill while I was a guest at the hotel.
They had me taken to an Urgent Care nearby for medical evaluation

Assume once you check in to the hotel, they could offer you assistance to get medically checked out.

Loews Hotels have different procedures than UO does for

But if you're not sick what is the ER going to do? And who is going to pay for that?
