We are going to Universal in April and I will be 4 months pregnant. Just curious which rides I will be able to do. Looking at their website they seem to say practically none, even the ones I know are pretty tame. I am just wondering if they are saying that more so to protect themselves. Obviously I know the roller coasters are out but what about some of the others. It has been so long since we've been it's hard to remember. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Gee, I hate to tell you this, but I honestly don't think it would be worth your time or money to go to Universal when pregnant. Most of the attractions involve sharp, sudden movements and do post the pregnancy warning on them. If I were pregnant and in Orlando, I would go to Epcot.

Outs IOA:
Hulk
Doom
Spiderman
Storm
Dudley
Popeye
JPRA
Unicorn
Dragon
Cat in the Hat
Outs Studios:
ROTM
MIB
BTTF
Woody Woodpecker
Earthquake

You can still do a great deal including Stationary seating on Jimmy Nuetron and Shrek. You can do Twister, JAWS, ET, Fear Factor, Animal Planet, Horror Make Up, Barney, and T2 at the studios.
IOA you can do...ummm.....Carosuessal, Trolley, One Fish, Sinbad, Poseidons Fury, and explore all the stuff.

Thanks for the info. I actually wound up talking to my Dr. and he told me I could probably do more than I think I can. Of course I will use good judgement. We are planning on having my husband ride the questionable things first and then decide from there. So maybe I will be able to ride Hulk after all (just kidding, I wouldn't even if I wasn't pregnant). Thanks again for your help.

i did coasters when i was pregnant.
if the seat restraint was the pull over type, i took a pass on those.

Actually we went while my wife was pregnant in '03 and we'll be going again in May and she'll be 4 months pregnant by then. So, we are in the same boat!

As said before almost everything is out at IOA. But you can do Cat in the Hat. Just ask the team member to make the car not spin. They can set it up so it's stationary.

That's one more ride you can do!

My wife was 3 and half months when we went and she rode cat in the hat, pluto raft barges and spiderman (3 times) sit in the back on spidy.

She could of rode more but that was all we wanted to ride. YOu can usually do more then you think. NO COASTERs. cat in the hat is nothing and only spins a couple times but you can have them not spin it. Spiderman is more effects then anything. it doesnt drop it does spin some.
Twister at Univsal would be ok. jaws, earthquake, use caution and you should be ok. my wife road all of those and she was just fine. But you have to use caution for you because not everyone is the same. Some people get sick where someone else will be bored with the ride.

My wife never had any morning sickneess or dizyness either. infact other then looking at her you would never know she was preg. no symptons whatsoever

Sorry to disappoint, but the "no spin" option on Cat in the Hat is no more.

Ride what ever you feel comforable with. Use your judgment. I have most all of the rides when I was pregnant and did just fine.
