Just noticed these on the USF website.

How long have these been available?

Not a cunning ploy to remove fotl perks from the hotels?

Will it impact the express lines - or have they priced themselves out?

The VIP express for one day without admission, I think for six months.

The unlimited Express with seven day admission, they started that a few weeks ago for spring break. They had it last summer too.

The VIP tickets include admission for either one day/two parks ($159.99 adult or $149.99 child) or seven days for $259.99 (adult/child).

I am not sure they have priced themselves out. Our family (yes, I was reluctant and cheap!) has purchased them for our upcoming trip...6 tickets at 260 each.

We are staying at HGVC @ i-drive for free so staying at a Universal property wasn't an option.

Now we will have unlimited express line pass perks, without staying onsite. We don't however get the dining perks that people staying onsite get.

It is just a way to give the benefits of onsite (well almost!) to people who aren't hotel customers. It does come at a premium and my guess would be that not everyone will take advantage of it.

I don't see it having a negative impact on those staying onsite.

Its unlimited Express for both parks in one day without admission. They sell them at the parks.

that is almost as much as the 7 day pass they are offering. I dont think I want to pay that much for one day per person. I hope the lines are not long when we go the end of this month.

You shouldn't need them even for Memorial Day weekend so it would be a waste of money. If you get there early you should be able to ride some of the bigger attractions before the crowds arrive. And if the lines start to get too long for you, you can always purchase the regular EP's for those days.

thank you, thats good to know. We will be there the Sunday before Memorial day and the Tues or Wed follwing. I was worried that it would be very busy but maybe with star wars weekend at Hollywood Studios and Manta opening at Sea World it wont be that bad.

Star Wars weekend and a major ride opening are going to draw large crowds...no doubt about it. I would be more concerned about Manta. I think the lines are going to be quite long for the whole weekend. After Monday it should really slow down.

I meant that if these are going on then we should be ok at universal.
