Universal Tram Tour - Is it really an hour?

I was reading that the Universal Tram Tour is an hour long. Do you stay seated in the tram the entire time? Or is there a walking portion? Seems like a long time to be seated on a ride!

It's about 50 min and you never get off the tram. Time flies though so you never get bored. The Kong 3-D attraction, Earthquake simulator, and Jaws attack are all experienced while you're on the tram.
