universal to wdw

We are staying at universal hotel for a couple of days then going to wdw for a couple days, How do most people transfer over to wdw? we are family of 3 and are probably going to have about 5 pieces of luggage.

i always book a 3 leg trip with private car service.

it costs me $130 + gratuity.

Depending how long you are talking about, it might be cheaper to rent a car through hotwire.com within a couple of weeks or a month of leaving for your trip. You can either rent it from the airport or from one of the companies nearby Universal once you are done there. There is a $15 per night parking charge at Universal which you could save by getting a car at the end of the Universal portion of your trip.

One of our trips, we rented a car midway through our trip by taking a $10 taxi ride to a Budget car rental site and then my hubby came and picked the rest of us up. We returned it after just a few days and used the Magical Express to get us to the airport. We got to do a little shopping and had the convenience of a car for a few days as well.

My husband don't want to get a rental car, because when we transfer to wdw then we usually use their transporation and we will take the magic express back to the airport. We already have transfer from the airport to universal studios,now finding a way with 3 people and 5 pieces of luggage.

the shuttle that goes from the disney resorts to universal and back, don't allow luggage on board.

i haven't looked at the transportation sticky lately but maybe it has some listed there.


i have used 6 of the services that most others have.
but, for the past 5 trips, have used the same service.


you'll see some companies listed on all ears site....or is it the mousesavers site......
but the one they push i won't use anymore.
