universal - to see or not to see?

we are 28 and 30 and are currently booked for a thurs-sun dec stay at disney. should we go a day earlier and see universal?

Hubby and I are 26 and 29 and we LOVE Universal. We are planning on spending two nights there before our Disney stay. I say go for it!

Go for it!!!! My husband and I spend most of our time at Universal when we go to Universal. We like the trill rides.

A big YES! Universal is a lot of fun. I screamed the entire way through Spiderman, but I loved it! (I'm a bit of a chicken!)

Universal is definitely worth the time and money. However, you have to go there with the right frame of mind. For one thing, the rides are (in general) a lot more aggressive, on par with what you would find at Six Flags or Cedar Point. Second, there are lots of subtle digs at Disney here and there, so don't take it personally.

The one that stands out was in the queue for Shrek 4-D. The hostess was encouraging guests to refrain from flash photography, etc. "Violaters will be flogged... or made to ride It's a Small World." Tongue-in-cheek, of course.

Every trip to Disney also entails a trip to Universal most definitely! In my opinion, the trip is not complete until we go to Universal too! Just adds another dimension to the trip, in my opinion. Like others said its much more aggressive which can be a nice addition if you're into that sort of thing. I personally say go for it, it is well worth it!

Absolutely. The DW and I have made Universal stops 3 of the last 4 trips to WDW, and we are planning to make a stop to see Harry Potter's world this fall. Some of our "must do" rides are now at USF and we are the 40-50 age group.
