Universal to allow kids in free with purchase of multipark pass

Yep, this is a really good deal. If you go over to the Universal boards there are alot of threads about this going on right now.

Wow - what a great deal! :woohoo:

We were thinking about missing US & IoA out this year - but with this deal and hearing that the characters from Madagascar are about - I guess we'll be going now! :yay:

Thanks for posting that Deb :)

My DDs will be ecstatic if the Madagascar characters are about - is it Alex the lion etc? I don't suppose the penguins make an appearance do they? (Our favourites)

Thanks
never been to Universal after all the times we have been in Florida
to tell you the truth never even know that we had a Universal boards on here

might check it out

Universal is great, you can walk from US to IOA as the 2 parks are side by side, there is plenty for children to do, and the Citywalk restaurant/shopping complex compliments both parks very well also.

There is also a multi-storey car park.

We have APs and they only cost $100 each to renew.

I am surprised that many people do not go or have never been.

There are photos of the Madagascar crew over on the US/IoA board - there is a really good one of a couple with Alex and the PENGUINS!!! :cool1:

Our DD will be so excited to see them, too! :cheer2: :woohoo:

.

how does this work

If you have an annual pass, you pay $100 to renew it. So you need to have one first :)

This is the same as the existing offer right?
They were already offering the kids free/3 extra days - and I was all geared up for a new offer.
Unfortunately a 5 day ticket is no good to us :(

Back to a choice between power passes and 2 week tickets then ;)

Annual Passes cost around $179 each.
If you pay the the full amount when you buy your APs the renewal price for these is $99.95 each only. You can also pay monthly.

Some passes renew automatically - these are the annual passes that are bought through Flex-Pay. These are charged $15 a month. When those renew you pay the full price.

If you bought your pass by paying in full (like we did) , they do not automatically renew. You have to call the phone number on the back of your annual pass to renew them. You need to call either 30 days before they expire or by 30 days after they expire to get the $99 renewal rate. If you wait more than 30 days after they expire, you will have to pay the full price for an annual pass.

They are excellent value for money. I don't think $179 is a bad price but $99 to renew is just a bargain.

And you get numerous benefits including free parking and discounts around the parks.

Thanks for the info
I just wish Disney AP were the same price

US are doing a deal at the moment
buy 1 adult 2 day 2 park ticket for $99 and get a kids one free plus 3 extra days free as well

and with the AP you get 3 extra months free = 15 months AP

( i hope I got that right )

Do you have a link for the 3 months free offer please? :cheer2:

sorry I do not know how to put a link on here :confused3
I think I PM you the link :confused3

If not there is a thread about this on the US / IOA board

Think I might have found a way around this

I just happened across this offer while on the Costco website: 2 Park Annual Pass for $179.99 that includes 3 months free. You do have to pay shipping (adds about $10 to the price)...so not quite as good a deal as it could have been. Here's the link if anyone's interested:

The only trouble with the Costco link is you can't get the tickets shipped to the UK.

sorry I should have looked at that before i posted

any how I have just booked the tickets 2 adults tickets and got 2 kids tickets free for $212 the lot plus $20 for shipping
that gets us into the 2 parks for 5 days in a row

Now the big question

what is Universal like
never been there , never really feel the need to go , we are not really into the BIG FAST rides
but for this price
