Universal Tickets??

Hello, I am a Disney freak and member. So that being said can someone help me on Universal. My two boys are at the age 12 and 14 that want to do Universal rather than Disney. We will spend only two days if I can get away with 1 that would be great? Any thoughts?? Any ticket advice? Discount advice?

Your boys will love it! If you can spare the two days, I would say do it - the best way to do this is to stay onsite at Universal for one night at either Royal Pacific, Hard Rock or Portofino Bay. This would give you Unlimited Express passes for two days - the day you check in and the day you check out. You can book this with your tickets as a package through Universal or book the hotel directly through Loews and buy your tickets separately through someone like Undercover Tourist.

The type of ticket you need depends on when you are going and whether or not you are interested in going to Volcano Bay (the new water park opening in late May).

Assuming you are not going to Volcano Bay and want to do the two days, you would need a minimum 2-day ticket. I would suggest you get the 2-day 2 park ticket. This allows you to ride the Hogwarts Express - a must if your boys are Harry Potter fans. It also allows you to go between the two parks during the day - similar to but MUCH easier than Disney's Park Hopper.

whatever you choose, do buy online your passes it will save you money vs gate price, and keep in mind in order to ride The Hogwards express you will need a park to park ticket
