For my 9 year old they didn't....and for me, they asked me if I was a nurse after my forefinger wouldn't work---so then I had to use my thumb on my left hand. What's up with that??

It's not an actual fingerprint. The scan recognizes certain points and outlines each visitor's finger.

I want to say under 9 do not scan..like Disney. My kids are all older so we all scan. As far as your thumb, I "thought" that was how they reset it, I could be wrong

when we went before getting the AP it wasn't scanned, after buying the AP yes the right index got scanned

The first time we went when my DS was 9 they did scan his finger and that was a few years ago

Children 9 and under do not have to scan due to privacy laws. My son is now 7 and has never had to scan his finger.
