Ok..

The last time we went to Universal, I forget the exact nature of the situation.. it's been a few years. But we bought tickets online cause it was supposedly a 'good deal'. When we got to Orlando, we found out we could have gotten a much better deal by NOT purchasing online in advance. And we were TICKED.

NOW this time - of course - I'm seeing these 'online only' free additional days tickets.

My travelling partners are like 'no freaking way are we buying Universal tickets in advance after last time. And I can understand that. But are these deals TRULY only available online? Are they available locally in some form?

Thanks.

John

Last year when we went we bought the 2 day/2 park with 3 free days @ the gate. I think they were about $100 each. However this year they are doing an online promo, buy an adult ticket and get a free kids ticket. For $99 you get both 2 day/2 park tickets. If you don't need the kids ticket then I would just wait till I got there. :)

The online deal is the best. Universal started a new marketing campaign in January and one focus was online sales. If you really want to save money, I'd buy online. These offers are not available at the gate.

We just purchased on-line with a promo that gives you admission for two individual days at both parks (you can park hop) for the price of a one day one park ticket. The only catch is you have to use the second day within 30 days of the first -- no problem if you're on vacation.

I thought that was a great deal, and I haven't seen anything better locally that doesn't involve a timeshare presentation.

Since we will only be going to Universal 1 day, we bought the 2 day non-expiring tickets. 1 day this trip and 1 day for the next. I think they were $99.

Rejo, where can I find that 2 parks for 1 deal online? I don't think I have seen it on Universal's website. Thanks!

I was just at Universal this weekend. My friend bought an adult 2 day/2 park pass at the gate and was given a 3rd day free.

DH and I bought the Annual Pass Buy 1 year get the 2nd free at AAA in Kissimmee.

Online I bought 2 adult 2 day tickets and got 3 days free along with kids tickets free. :cool1: For $208 i got 5 days for each person and the 2 kids tickets free. I also bought the meal deal. But i am not sure how that is going to work, when i checked i only bought 2 adult tickets.

If you are staying offsite then check at your hotel's concierge desk. I know that alot of local companies are offering buy one get one free Universal tickets right now.
