Universal ticket at Mypoints

Has anyone ever gotten the "Universally Accepted Amusement ticket" with their Mypoints? It's a whopping 6,000 points, so I don't want to take a chance with this one. Anyone ever use it at the gate? Thanks!

I have used them before. I cashed in for two last year and used them at SeaWorld. Seaworld gate price was about $45 so 6000 points seemed about in line.

I went to the Window at SeaWorld and they were accepted fine and bought 2 1 day child passes. I immediately went to the Customer Service window in the park and received our "bounce back" pass to use later in the week.

I am also considering using them for a summer trip to Wisconsin Dells. 1 Universal pass is good for 1 adult and 1 child entry to Noah's Park.

Thanks! I''m sure Universal will be the same. I might just use my points for a Web certificate and buy tix online, too.

Does anyone know how long these take to arrive from mypoints and do they have expiration dates on them? I'm thinking about ordering them for my trip in July. THanks!

but this could be a good deal. I am taking my DS to DLR in November and wanted to take him to Universal Hollywood and Legoland as well. I was thinking of cashing in My Points for Hilton Honors Points to get the Universal tickets, but they are a LOT more points than 6,000, so this it s much better deal.

We used one last year at Sea World no problem at all.

We have earned five so far this year and plan on using them at US. That's about $250.00 in free tickets! Thank you my points!


Take note: CSI (corporate sports incentives) universal amusement park tickets DO HAVE expiration dates. I believe it is 10 months from when they are issued.

We have received all of our tickets in a week or less from my points.

thanks for the heads-up on the expiration dates. Are they ever under 10 months expiration? And are there any disqualifications (dates, etc) that could make the tickets unusable?
five tickets in a year is awesome! I'm hoping to get one or two.

unfortunately they are not currently good at wdw. On my points:
go to spend points,quicklist, click on csi universal amusement ticket catalog,directory, you can then choose the state you are looking for and it will give a listing of where they can be used at.



I had called CSI before we ordered our tickets through my points and she told me that the expiration date is 10 months from the date you order them. So I think it is always 10 months.

I am not aware of any blackout dates. I would think they would be sent with the card if there were any. Nothing is stated on the cards or the folder they came in.
