Thank you all!! Our brains were in high gear for that one! It was a lot of fun thinking into the future like that. Sadly, it also made me realize I'll never see it happen unless I live to be well over 100!!!!

This next one involves making a "prequel" (a movie that leads into the original real movie) to Lilo and Stitch. Each team had to pick a random city, then it was matched by distance to a "secret" city. We picked LA, and the actual "secret" city was Topeka, KS.
Turns out 9 other teams picked cities closer to Topeka than we did. Those teams got to chose first(in order) from a movie list. This challenge has a shorter deadline, Friday @ 7pm.

Yes, they are! We were shocked after multiplying things out!! LOL It was a lot of fun coming up with futuristic stuff though! Oh, and the giant diamonique sculptures being "non-reflective"? That came from a weird thought of "Hope they don't act like a magnifying glass and set the whole place on fire!" Oh yes, the brains go places they've never been before!

C-5 is the one we are working on now.

i hope you all will like it.

we have to turn it in by friday evening for judging.

due to issues of miscalculations, one team will be allowed to submit their project 48 hours after us.

so, i think we will know the outcome of C-5 on late sunday night.

if that changes, i'll post about it here.

We just found out that the judges needed a few more days to read the stories. Now they're telling us the results will be posted on Friday.

In case anyone forgot what this challenge was....... it's ridiculous that they "need more time"....the deadline was a WEEK ago.....c'mon already! Just announce we win and be done w/ it!

Wow. Sorry to say that our team came in last on this challenge and have been eliminated. Of all the stories possible to do a prequel for, ours was Lilo & Stitch. I knew nothing about that one and neither did Mac. Wow. We're done. I think I'll go make coffee. Thanks for supporting us all this time! It really meant a lot to know that you were cheering us on!
