We are arriving in Orlando late on 8/15, but only checking into Royal Pacific on Sunday. I made the plans for Disney first, water park and MK. Now I realize that the Hydro Action Show and Universal 360 end on Saturday, we check in on Sunday. Saturday is our down day, lounge at the pool and go to Downtown Disney for lunch so we could go over to see the 2 shows on Saturday night. Are the shows worth it? We have been to Universal/IOA 6 times so I do know my way around. Have the $85 ticket so that's not an issue. Anyone think I can make the 6:45 Hydro Action show if I wait for 6 free parking? I have stayed off site 1 time so I am familiar with the garage. I guess I just need to know if we are really missing out, since we do have the tickets. I don't want to change my plans, because I am staying at the Royal Plaza and have the 4th night free, so I would be paying extra if we moved to RP on Saturday. Yes I know I didn't do good enough planing but we only planned this trip last month when we got $49 airfare. Thanks for any opinions. How much is parking if we go before 6? Thanks again.

IMO, the 360 show is worth making a special trip to see but not the hydroshow. If I am there already, the hydroshow is a fun show to watch but not something I would make a special trip to see. I think the 360 show is a must see though. It combines fireworks, lasers, a 360 cinesphere show on the four globes, and even projections on the buildings around the lagoon.

Parking is free after 6:00 PM. Before 6:00 PM, it is $11.
