A part of my next trip is going to be spent at Universal Studios in Orlando. Can anyone tell me what it's like and, if at all possible, how it compares to Universal Studion Hollywood? We went there in 2007 and I detested it.
What sorts of things are there to do? Personal experiences/opinions? Anything helps.
Thanks. :goodvibes

USO is completely different from USH, because it isn't a working studio.
There's no backlot tour through the movies, but there are several attractions.

The star of the resort is Islands of Adventure, which is a really beautiful, well themed park and is also getting the new Harry Potter area.

I like USO.. it's not my favorite, and you really only need 2 days there, 3 at tops, but I do like it.

USO is better than USH.

Must do's at USO:

*Revenge of the Mummy
*Twister: Ride It Out
*Rock, Ride, Rip It
*Univeral Horror Make-Up Show
*Shrek 4D
*Terminator 2: 3D

BE SURE TO GO TO ISLANDS OF ADVENTURE.

Islands of Adventure (IoA) is a BEAUTIFUL park, tons of amazing rides.

Must-Do's at IoA:

*The Amazing Adventures of SpiderMan
*The Incredible Hulk
*Dudley Do-Right's RipSaw Falls
*Popeye and Bluto's Bilge-Rat Barges
*Jurassic Park River Adventure
*Posiden's Fury
*The Cat in the Hat

I would include Dueling Dragons, but that is being re-done for the Wizarding World of Harry Potter; it's new name is Dragon Challenge, and I'm not sure if it'll be open during your visit.
