Any suggestions for good hotels in the Universal area for under $125/night?

I going but I'm staying closer to Disneyland like right next door to it actually when I go to both parks. I'm gonna stay at one of the choice hotels because the rates are pretty good and I've gotten good reviews from them.

I just hope US is worth it.

Check the Beverly Garland.

Of course there are dozens of hotels/motels in the Hollywood area
- all the usual chains in just about every price range. Super 8,
Days Inn, Quality Inn, Vagabond Executive, Best Western, Magic
Castle Hotel. And all in the Universal and Hollywood area.

We stayed at the Beverly Garland Holiday Inn quite a few years ago and it was nice. They had a nice restraunt onsite and were holding auditions for a reality show in their conference room.
