Hi
Has any one been to the parks at US recently i ask as friends went Xmas and did an offer that they had on there. You pay $18.99 adult price to eat all day at their designated restaurants.
I would be interested to know if this offer is still ongoing as we are going in April and would like to use this.

Yes, offer is still running. Details below:

"All You Can Eat Pass" all day long (actually until 30 minutes before park closing).

Adults (one park) $18.99 plus tax
Children (one park) $8.99 plus tax

Adults (two park) $22.99 plus tax
Children (two parks) $10.99 plus tax

Beverages are not included.

You can choose 1 entree, 1 side, and 1 dessert each time you go through the line. You can eat as often as you wish during the day.

The participating restaurants at Universal Studios are:
Louie's Italian Restaurant
Mel's Drive-in
International Food and Film Festival

At IOA:
Circus McGirkus
Captain American Diner
Comic Strip Cafe

You can purchase these at the dining and Information Carts at Citywalk, Universal Studios, and IOA and also at the Ticket booths at both parks and Guest Services at either park.

They can also be purchased at these stores:
Universal Studio Store
Sahara Traders
Islands of Adventure Trading Company
Marvel Alterniverse Store

You will receive a wristband that identifies those who have purchased it.

To go along with this meal deal, you can also purchase a souvenir cup for $7 and get unlimited (free!!!) fountain drink refills all day.

There are also some menus on the Universal board if you want to have a look.

Yes, it was advertised all over the parks and the park maps when we were there a couple of weeks ago, although we didn't take advantage.

That sounds good value will give it a go when we are over in April

Fingers crossed, there still doing the deal when I get there in May. Mind you I'm not grumbling as last night I bought one of those $99.95 adult tickets so DD gets in free. Fingers crossed it turns up as the Sales Assistant and I could have been talking two different languages -the joys of having a broad Yorkshire accent!

Does anyone know if US/IOA have nights where they open later than 7pm? This deal would be great for us if we were to have lunch AND dinner at US but with it closing at 7, we normally have dinner elsewhere. If they were to have late opening nights we'd be tempted to schedule US on those days and take advantage of the dining plan.

It depends on when you go, in July they close at 10, but gradually through August it decreases through 9, 8 etc and then September/October it is often 6.
You do get the odd Saturday when it closes at 8 though.

If anyone has been to US / IA in the last couple of weeks could you let me know if they are doing the offer of buying a 1 day ticket get the 2nd day for free?????
Or if you know of any other offers that are on at the moment I would be grateful - Thanks!!

I dont think I would really want to eat at any of those. Its a pity Lonbards and Mythos arent listed.

or

Buy a 2-day 2-park pass and get 3 extra days free plus get a free kids' ticket

or

Non-expiring days - Buy a 2-day 2-park pass and the 2nd day never expires
