Read my FREAKING OUT post!(New Thread) I am anxiously awaiting Ticketmaster's response.

i read it.

i hope TM does not respond back to you that tickets are non refundable.

Why don't you call them so you don't have to wait any longer?

BYC, the 2 day tickets are a good deal.

the second day can be used anytime, the ones you can buy from UO don't expire.

Mac, if you buy the two park/ two days tickets at UO, the second day does expire. It has to be used within a week of the first day.

I received our tickets in the mail and reading it up close it says
"2 day/2 park us OR ioa. Does that mean we only get to go to one park for 2 days? I was hoping on seeing both parks. Anyone else have this issue?

did you read the thread BYC made?
the ticketmaster passes expire 12/31/09.

Yes I did, but my Q had nothing to do with the exp dates. It has to do with what it says on the ticket about the parks.

I just checked my TM ticket (I purchased a 1-day, 2-park ticket) and it had no mention on it about any expiration date (not that it would be a problem - we're going in October) - maybe it's only on the 2-day tickets?:confused3

There was no mention of an expiration date on my 2 day tickets either. I only found out about the expiration (after having been told there was no expiration date) when I contacted them because of mu concern about the word "or" on my tickets. I wanted to be sure they were park hoppers, because the word 'or' implied they were not. That is when I found out they expired at the end of '09. If I had not questioned the word "or", I would have tucked the tickets away until our January trip, and only discovered they were useless when we (6 people!) showed up at the gate!:scared1:
I have since looked at my Ticket History on Ticketmaster, and it DOES show an expiration date there.

Doubtful...if anything the one day ticket would be more restrictive than the two day ticket. Tickets that are purchased through Universal directly do not expire until they are activated at the gate. I would have assumed the TM tickets were the same but apparently not. Sometimes it's not worth the couple of $$ you save to a ticket from another source...especially considering the money you are spending to come down in the first place. It's just not something I would want to take a chance on...but that's me. :rolleyes1

I also bought these tickets a long time ago, we are going in October, I sure hope they work. We have 8 for 2 parks, 1 day.

Go to Ticketmaster website, and look at your Ticketmaster History. That is where I saw the December expiration date. Hopefully yours will be fine. I know other people have posted that they used them with no issues.

You'll be fine. I haven't heard of anyone having problems using the these tickets and there have probably been hundreds of DISers between this thread and the previous TM threads. Ticketmaster is a reputable company, even though most of us feel they do monopolize and gouge on their concert/sports/etc. tickets markups.

The question has been if the tickets expire on Dec 31, 2009? Prior to purchase, there's no specific language on TM website to indicate an expiration date to the 1 or 2 day tickets. It does say the season tickets are good through Dec 31st. However, after purchase, my "2-day pass" purchase summary, as others have noted, does say:

UNIVERSAL ORLANDO TWO DAY - TWO PARK PASS
Uo Supergroups, Orlando, FL
12/31/09 - 11:59 PM

I would assume that since TM typically sells tickets to "events" that have specific dates and times, that their system requests a specific date or time to be entered and they entered "12/31/09 - 11:59PM". I would think that the tickets would still be honored in 2010 because my understanding is that this is an ongoing relationship (multiple years) with TM and US Orlando. However, I don't know and I wouldn't want to risk being stuck with expired tickets, so it would make sense to postpone purchasing these tickets if travel plans are not until 2010.

Could someone please PM me the code?? I was going to buy a 1/1 pass today for October. This would save me a lot! Thank you!!!

:yay: Woo hoo!! I just tried a US ride for the code and it worked! That saved us $30!! The rest of us have the free super bowl tickets, we just needed one for our youngest daughter! Fantastic thread!

Hi, I purchased a 1day/2park ticket and it also says OR, so it should not be an issue. If I had only wanted to see 1 park, I would have purchased the 1 day/1park.

The one day/2 park is a park hopper so no need to worry.
