Universal studios question??

I'm heading out to L.A. on Feb. 15 arriving somewhere around 9:00 am on a Saturday. Will need a hotel for 2 days then heading to Disneyland stay at the GCV for 5. Question is this: 1) Will I need that Saturday 1/2 day & the Sunday to hit every ride at a nice leisurely pace, or just the Sunday? and 2) I looked at the 2 hotels that are right on property---> the Sheraton & the Hilton. If I stay there , Do I get special front of the line privileges like I would in Orlando/U.S.? Thanks in advance

USH only has 5 rides. If rides is the only thing that interests you, you could ride them all within a half day at the park. However, to do all the rides and see all the shows, a full day is recommended.

Also keep in mind the Studio Tour closes before the rest of the park.


The hotels at Universal DO NOT give you Front of The Line access like in Orlando. And unlike Orlando, the front of the line access is limited to 1-time per attraction, unless you pay the $299 for the VIP tour.

Thanks for the info....I think its only like $5 extra to purchase the 2nd day so....Might as well just do it....Any utilize partial day for the pool, if weather permits it..Thnx again.
