I cant go to both parks, I can only go to one, so which would u choose & why? Is islands of adventure, mostly all water rides? Cuz I dont know I dont want to get wet..

I'd choose Universal Studios.

I love the shows there and there's a lot more to do for a fuller day, in my opinion.

A lot of IOA is thrill rides and water rides. The water rides don't get you wet, they get you DRENCHED.

Both parks have great theming and shouldn't be missed, but if you can only go to one and you don't want to get wet, Studios is the park to go.

The new Wizarding World of Harry Potter is located in IOA, and for us that is a DO NOT MISS on our upcoming trip in December.

For me I absolutely loved getting totally drenched on the water rides. We were there in 100 degree heat so it was welcomed. Just dress appropriately (many wore swim suits!). They were so much fun. Forbidden journey is a ride not to be missed. Just do single rider line if you don't want to wait. Howver you have stated that you do not like water rides so that leaves you with US. I loved the rides/movie experiences there too, so it is well worth the visit there. You will have plenty to do there too. The mummy, simpsons and MIB were my absolute favourites!

IOA -- it would be a shame to be there and not check out the new attraction, even if you're not a Harry Potter fan.

I liked Universal Studios better then IOA, though that will probably change once I'm there for Harry Potter. For teens and thrill-die hards though, IOA is probably the better choice.

This depends a lot on you. What do you like more? Rides? Or Shows?

For me it's IOA. Defiantly. All the rides on Marvel Island alone are worth it to me. Not to mention the new HP section.

Besides, there are only 2 rides that you really get wet on in IOA. Popeye and Dudley Do Right. And they're in the same section of the park. I've never been on either for the that very reason and usually just walk past them. You might get a little wet on Jurassic Park. But if you're smart and don't sit up front or on the sides you're usually just fine.

I like Mummy, MIB, and Simpson's in US. Not been on Rip Rocket yet. But other than that? Yawnsville.
