Universal Studios or IOA next Sat night?

Hi,we are arriving around 3pm on Sat.Would like to settle into the hotel ,have an early dinner then head to the parks.(they are open until 10pm)Assuming we arrive around 6:30 which would be a better choice?We have the 5 day passes,so plenty of time to do everything.TIA

I'd do IoA so you could catch the fireworks that night.

I didn't know they were doing fireworks that night! Do you know what time and where is a good place to view them?TIA

They are usually around 9:45 PM. Saturday is the last night. They will be having them all this week though. They are in the lagoon so any place near the water should be good.

Right behind Mythos is a great spot to view the fireworks.

Just know that the 17th is also the last day for Mummy until Grand Opening. You might want to try going to USF first and trying for Mummy, then go to IOA before 9pm so you can possibly hit a ride or two and pick a good spot for fireworks. The spots closest to the lagoon are usually full/near full by 930-940.
