How many days should I plan to get around all of the Universal? I was thinking of staying onsite at RPR for 4 nights in July next year, but I'm wondering whether 3 nights will be enough - especially as you get the express passes so queues shouldn't be a problem.

We only stayed for 1 night and found with the express pass we got to do everything we wanted to -didnt see everything but did all of the main rides.

Loved the express pass and walking past all of the queues!!

did 2 nights over xmas didn't arrive until lunch time on 1st day as was xmas pressie and had to do all xmasy things first at villa and left earlyish on day one for xmas diner at emirals (sp) in RPR had all of the next day and were finished by 8pm on day 3- even although it was opened later. In July young kids may take an extra few hrs playing in the water village and watching things like Barney- were well past the barney stage:woohoo: but 3 days is really all you would need with the express pass. If we go next july, I will only stay 1 night getting there for 9am and ataying until close both days, and I know we will have done and had enough by then. The onsite perks are such a must for US in my view.

3 nights would be enough with the express pass and allowing time to relax at the resort etc.

I think 3 days with the express is enough- are you planning on purchasing the park to park? US is very easy to "park hop" since the two parks are close together :)

Depending on your family/ages and touring style. I'd even say 2 nights is enough, as you get a 3rd day of FOL access on your check-out day. I did only 1 night/2days onsite, but I had been many times before. Definitely make use of the early entry if you want to see Harry Potter!

The words 'quickly' and 'early' don't appear to be in my wife's dictionary, so we will need the 3 nights I think! :rotfl:

I was considering 4 nights right at the start of the holiday (the first day wouldn't have been used) but I am now thinking of a few nights at a Seaworld hotel first before going to Universal, so we can get 4 days at US by staying 3 nights.

If you only book for 1 night...what time are you allowed into your room,as I assume the FOTLP are associated with your room key. And are you allowed to use it for 2 days if only staying for 1 night?

Have booked flights for next July!!! yaay!!:dance3::banana::dance3::banana:

We checked in at 9 but Ive heard you can do it earlier,we were given our room key to use in the park even though the room wasnt ready yet. We left our bag with bell services and went off to the parks. They would have texted us when our room was ready but we didnt have our phones with us so they said it would be ready at 4. Yes you get 2 days express pass for 1 nights stay its fantastic !

That's good to know - may only book one night now thanks!!!:)

Yea, three days is enough if you get the express passes. The part that's going to take the most time is the harry potter section. The last time I went it was a line just to go into the shops.Definitely need to go to men in black ride, love at ride. If you do seaworld give it a couple of days, lots of shows and exhibits. You have to work the different times for the shows to see them all. Nice park to relax at and take your time. Good Luck and have fun.

On previous trips we have stayed at HRH for 2 nights and enjoyed the parks for 3 days with FOTL.

This summer we stayed 3 nights and had 4 days in the parks. This allowed us to go to USF and IOA on alternate days and enjoyed WWoHP for 2 early morning starts. It also meant that we had more time to enjoy the resort and CityWalk.

My vote woud be of 3 nights :thumbsup2

We are staying for four nights, but it will only be three full days, as want to leave early to get to our Disney hotel. The plan is to do Uni/IOA/SW and some pool time on those days so when we get to Disney we can stay there.
IMHO three nights is plenty to do the two parks with the express tickets.

Yes 3 nights is good to do we are looking to do 5 or 7 nights next year as we found Universal to be fantastic this year as we could take our time whilst at the parks and also allowed alot more time to relax at the HRH pool.
