>>The new pass, which went on sale Monday, costs $119 and gives access to the park for 219 select days, including 54 weekend days during a rolling nine-month period, depending on the day it is purchased.

The theme park will not require pass holders to be California residents, but the new California Neighbor Pass is designed to attract locals who will want to visit the park on a regular basis.<<

Not a bad deal, even if you want to just visit on 2 days.

Since April 2016:

-California Resident Annual Pass
-California Resident PLUS Annual Pass
-Platinum Annual Pass
-CostCo California Resident Annual Pass
-Season Pass
-CostCo Season Pass
-2016 Season Pass
-CostCo Gold Annual Pass

- California Neighbor Season Pass.

They really must be really struggling to get locals to the park. That is an insane amount of pass changes in the span of 6 months.

We bought those because the cost was the same as a 2 day pass and we were going for 2 days. It turns out my daughter was too sick to go our second day, so the season pass didn't make me feel like I wasted money on a 2 day pass. We will go once more, but I doubt I'd go again after that. I do see the appeal for those who live in the Valley, though.

I'm thinking of buying these passes even though we live in Texas. We are going for 2 days in January but will be back to the area maybe 2 more times in 2017. Would be nice to be able to drop in for a few hours during those times.
