We have now decided to stay at the Lowes Hollywood hotel for our stay in LA - I know it is next to the Red Metro line and it is right by the Hollywood/Highland stop - one stop away from US.
I read somewhere there is a shuttle from the Universal Metro station to the park - is this free, how far away is it and do the shuttles run late enough for us to be able to eat dinner at Citywalk after the park closes and then get the shuttle for the Metro back to the hotel?
Any advice is appreciated - we have bee to US Hollywood once before but that was on a Grayline tour bus from Anaheim so didnt have to think about things like this.
