As a complete theme park nerd who thought he knew so much about the industry, I can't believe I never knew about this! Universal Studios 'London' as I'm sure it would ahve been called would have been amazing, imagine what it would have been like now 16 years later. The UK could have had a world class theme park I'm guessing that Universal decided to go with Paris for it's Europe park and then pulled all plans after 'Euro Disney' underperformed.

It would have been cool. As for a European connection they used to own Port Aventura in Spain for a while.

what a shame there was also supposed to be a disney style theme park built in Corby, they started building but eventually gave up on it, Corbys not the best place for a disney park though lol

wasnt it windsor (the closed safari park that became legoland) that was scouted as a possible plot for eurodisney?
