Universal Studios closing early?

Does anyone know why both parks close so early? Would really appreciate if anyone has some inside info about this? Thanks =)

What are the dates? Universal often has private events that close the parks early. There are also special ticket events such as Grad Bash and Halloween Horror Nights.

If it is the next few weeks it is because projected crowds changed and are expected to be much lower

I've never been to Universal/IOA when they've been open later than 7pm. It's just normal for them.

They also announced that there are private events next week and something going on at the new Diagon Alley area that requires early park closure (at least that's what they said but not quite sure why that would be the case).

Yes this is true. Universal will close early.

this is short term, not long term and if you look at the next 3 months, US/IOA will be open later than they were last summer.
