Universal Studios at large......help please!!!

My wife and I are thinking about going to US this december after 2 weeks @WDW and would like to know if any other "Large" Sized People had any problems fitting on any of the attractions?

I am 6'2 and weight about 350 lbs

I know that IOA is out of the question...But I was hoping some one might be able to help with US rides and attractions.

The only one's I think I might have a problem with is (Back to the future, MIB and maybe ET)

Any help would be greatly appreciated..

is a thread that shows some concerns of one person who is in the above average size. unfortunalty it gets to a bit of controversy, but does point out the problems with some of the rides.

the issues are more at IOA, but based on your stats, I think you would have more challenges because of height, not weight. US has alot of shows, so you will be fine.

MIB should be fine since it is just a seat belt used for restraints. I've never seen anyone turned away. ET is also seat belts as well. I think it is more the over the shoulder harnesses and other coaster restraint systems where a computer indicates if the restraint is down enough to properly lock that give problems. The normal woven seat belt type restraint rides are usually fine.

I am plus sized and have never had a problem with MIB, Jimmy Neutron was a tight squeeze though. ET was fine, the bike restraints go with your size. You really can give IOA a shot, just use the row with the large seat, its row 3 and 6, and its the second seat from the end. (just ask the ride operator). I fit in the seat at Dr Doom with no problem, the seat adjusts to the riders size.

For BTTF, you'll want to be on the 1st level (ground level), and sit in the front row and be in the middle.

MIB has the seatbelt and lapbar, which will not be a problem. They have a test seat outside as well that you can try if you'd like.
