We are returning after 10 years and Hard Rock is no longer in my budget! There will be 4 of us (me, dd25, dd21, dd17) and we need accommodation near to US. I don’t want to drive so looking for somewhere that won’t break the Uber bank, ideally 2/3 bedrooms.
It’s for 5 nights this September.
Any advice on who to book with or areas to consider or avoid?
Thank you 😊

We are currently at Dockside (a universal hotel). It is pretty good, we have a 2bdr suite, sleeps 6, in 3 queen beds. Only 1 bathroom. They supply a shuttle, and I can’t complain we have never waited, there is always a bus available, and the trip takes 5 minutes.

Dockside and Cabana Bay are both really great options. The two bedroom at Dockside is a decent option if you are looking for a little more space/privacy. We stayed at each of these places once and I was honestly really surprised by the quality for the money.

That sounds great. Are the shuttles packed?

Thank you. Any recommendations on who to book with for the best deal? We are there for 5 nights so will probably get the 14 day tickets - even though they were £99 each the last time we went 😭

I feel your pain! When we booked we went through Air Canada vacations so we got flights and the room as a package. It was pretty reasonable especially considering currency. I have also seen some good deals through Costco…

In the morning and at park close, yes. "If you can see the floor, there's room for more."
During less busy times, not packed but they'll usually wait for the bus to be "full" before leaving, usually just a few people standing. So you might still have a short wait but at least usually it's sitting on the bus (in the AC).

Yes at 7am. But every other bus we got was not crowded and people choosing to stand because they didn’t want to walk to back of bus 🤣 . We did not catch a bus at park close. The bus ride is only 5 minutes.

Cabana Bay is good, Endless Summer is cheaper. Have you priced out an Annual Pass and use the AP discount for the Hard Rock or other premier hotels? Sometimes it can be cheaper - and you get the included Express Passes.
You can get rooms at Endless Summer for $70 and 2BR for $120 for September with an AP discount.
