I'm planning to go to universal (guided tour ) how far ( long ) is the ride to get there ??
Also if you've been to universal ( guided tour ) was the time given to visit enough ????
I just don't want to rent a car so going by bus ( guided tour ) seems the est idea..

That depends on where you are leaving.

Also if you've been to universal ( guided tour ) was the time given to visit enough ????

You are usually given the bare minimum
of time needed. You'll see the highlights
but won't have time to linger or go at your
own pace.

Which tour company are you using, 4 Mickey? They are having a buy 1, get 1 free promotion at Universal, but I'm not sure it includes the bus tour...my family may want to do this too, since we are also not renting a car.

We will use Starline there is a combo tour of 13 hours what is included is :
transportation
universal
and a tour of hollywood I think the price is 98$
We don't like to rent cars because of traffics my DH likes to take it easy in vacation and don't like to be caught in traffics and bcause this will be our 3rd trip we know for a fact that traffic in either hollywood , los angeles can be nightmare .

From Paradise Pier, it can take anywhere from 1 to 1-1/2 hours or more to Universal, depending on day of week, time of day, and traffic.

It will be a long day, but you should have enough time to see all the highlights at Universal.

It's smart of your DH to not want to drive in L.A. I live here, and the traffic has gotten worse.
