*Universal Studio Ticket Questions

After around 30 visits to Disney World, we are finally going to Universal Studios - three days total, 5 months apart.

I am trying to figure out ticket options. Here are my questions:
1. I am thinking an annual pass makes the most sense, one day is in June and two days are in November - am I thinking of this wrong?
2. If I am wrong, what is the best site for buying Universal Studios tickets at a discount?
3. If I buy an annual pass, are there ANY discounts for people who don't live in Florida??
