O.K> were going to the Universal Parks one day and this will be our first visit, we need ideas as to where is good to eat at these parks, and any other suggestions or hints would be appreciated. T:cheer2:hanks Sheila

There are several good restaurants on the City Walk area. What type of food does your family prefer?? Like a good sit-down meal or fast food??

:goodvibesif you post this on the Universal boards, they can definitely help you over there. :thumbsup2

My recommendations are:

The Studios:
1. Louie's Pizza
2. Finnegan's
3. Lombard's

IOA:
1. Thunder Falls Terrace
2. Mythos
3. Comic Strip Cafe

Come over to the Universal board and we will be glad to help.

We always walk out and have lunch at City Walk. We love to stop by Margaritaville and have a cheese burger in paradise! It's quiet and lovely to take a break from the park. For us, we do both parks, so break mid-day at Jimmy Buffet's -- then wander over to IOA. We'll be there this Sunday!! BTW -- happy hour for 1/2 price margaritas is from 3-5 M-F.

Definitely Margaritaville! Good food and atmosphere. It just feels like vacation all over that place!

We love Mythos....

I think mainly for the atmosphere....it's SO cool !!!

There is a sign out front that claims they are voted the #1 Theme Park Restaurant for #X years (don't remember how many)

A little pricey but we don't skimp on meals when we've spent so much on an Orlando vacation.

Mythos in IOA great atmosphere and tasty food

Louie's in Studios best theme park pizza anywhere

Louie's, Circus McGurkus, Thunder Falls, and Finnegan's inside the parks.

Margaritaville, Pat O'Brien's, Tchoup Tchop and Islands (at Royal Pacific) outside the parks.

We also liked Louie's over Sal's pizza. We did think the Panini sandwiches at Sal's were great. They were tasty and very generous, DH and I shared one for lunch one day and it was more than enough.

Wow. I haven't tried either one. We are staying a PBH in July and can't wait to try Sal's -- I heard it was great. Now we have another one to try.

Starbucks and Ben & Jerry's are right across the street from Louie's...stop in for dessert.
