Universal Restaurant Reviews

I've been looking over menus from the Universal restaurants the past couple of days, but can't find many reviews.

The three things I'm most interested in right now, are Mythos, Tchoup Chop, and the Luau at RPR. Does anyone have any reviews of these places, or any other suggestions for a good table-service meal?

We love Mythos and Tchoup Chop. Both have great atmosphere and food. Mythos is reasonably priced while Tchoup Chop could be considered pricey.

My wife and I did the Luau several years ago and enjoyed. For our upcoming October trip, we're thinking about doing the Luau again as we'll have 2 other couples who haven't exprienced it yet. We tried booking it on our last October trip, but it was sold out.

Another choice is Finnegan's at Universal Studios. It's a sitdown restaurant featuring good Irish food. It's across from The Mummy ride.

At Citywalk, my two favorite restaurants are Margaritaville and Hard Rock Cafe.

Have you checked tripadvisor.com? The reviews are amusing if nothing else.

I can only go by what I hear. Mythos and Tchoup Chop are praised constantly and I'll get to them eventually. I haven't heard much about the Luau.
