I'd really like to see some thing like RSR over at Universal. And I think, Knight Rider is the perfect fit.
Yeah, I overheard a bunch of the kids in line at HHN practically BEGGING for a ride based on a now defunct 80s television show.I'd really like to see some thing like RSR over at Universal. And I think, Knight Rider is the perfect fit.
Ha. This thread is about Knight Rider ride and your name is “Kit.”I know that Fast and the Furious is a popular franchise with a huge modern fanbase. It should have a presence in the park, but the current Fast and the Furious ride isn't that great. A Radiator Springs Racers style ride (or a more intense version of it) would be perfect for Fast and the Furious.
I enjoy the orginal Knight Rider series, but the car was with two ts (KITT). My username is partially a reference to Kit Cloudkicker from TaleSpin. As a little kid, I thought he was the absolute epitome of cool.Ha. This thread is about Knight Rider ride and your name is “Kit.”
The location is all wrong, but retheming the Fast and the Furious ride to Knight Bus would be brilliant and could totally work.A Knight Bus ride would be built before a Knight Rider ride.
I always thought the same thing. Can have the dark ride portion to start with being at the garage and heading through the city to meet up at the street race, then have the high speed racing portion head to head with another car. Could still do screens mixed with physical sets to use the cast, maybe even have similar scenarios as RSR with suped-up tires or paint jobs (maybe a little different with engine upgrades or something). Can showcase different cast members in the different sides too to add more re-rideability. Would be cool if they could add a boost section during the racing portion where you can hit a button in the car to "activate" the NOS (similar to the purple button on Hagrid's.) Would have been much better than what we got. Probably wouldn't fit where it is now, but a smaller version could have fit in the Toon Lagoon amphitheatre along with some backstage behind the cafe/shops, or in the backstage area between Simpsons and MiB.I know that Fast and the Furious is a popular franchise with a huge modern fanbase. I mean, if it was the Stranger Things house, maybe?Yeah, I overheard a bunch of the kids in line at HHN practically BEGGING for a ride based on a now defunct 80s television show.
I need to say this: the 5 minutes of fast and furious on the tram tour in USH made me so happy I never rode the ride at UOR. If that’s all it is I am happy I’ve skipped out on it. That's why my idea was to still have some minimal screens used for incorporating the actors. Though they did good with Hagrid animatronic.Could you imagine the animatronic Rock and Vin Diesel? That would either be epic or terrible. I cant decide.
