So we know Disney is closed until at least June 13th. I wonder how long they're going to wait to open after UO?? I know, I know, it's the 30 million dollar question.

This is great news It’s a good indicator for WDW, IMO. Now for the details on how they open.

Cant imagine Disney would wait an entire month to reopen. But theyre different operations with the hotels and transportation, so who knows. I feel good about rebooking for June 15th to the 22nd, but I’m not confident.

For now on when I call WDW guest services, I’m asking for Sven.

Quite possible they cancelled resort visits because of UO's plan of soft opening to AP first

I'm so happy!!!
I had a really good feeling we were going to hear good news today. Why? Because my all time favorite Disney music loop, Hollywood Studio's Sunset Blvd came back online today. It had been off for months due to copyright infringement, but I tried it this morning and walla, DREAMY haha. So good Disney news should follow soon I would hope.

We know resorts are closed until then, but they could open to select guests earlier than that.

I want you to be right. I'll be really sad if they sent those emails and there was no actual reason to move/cancel. My email said to modify or cancel, and if I did nothing it would be cancelled for me. I moved it to July so....yeah. I'll be very sad if that was not necessary.

Any mention of the guidelines? Masks, distancing, which kind of attractions will be open?
They're going through all this right now. Masks required with enforcement in the parks, they'll manage capacity and ramp up very slowly and manage capacity in each venue so they can do social distancing everywhere in the park including rides and restaurants...

I now think it's a very real possibility we will see the parks at Disney open first in a similar fashion and then the resorts in July.

Nice to see things moving forward, but oh man after today there is no way Ill be going to any park that requires a mask. I am in NE FL and it is blazing hot here today and humid.

So I'm here like, but Disney cancelled my June 12-16 reservation today. So are they really going to be 2+ weeks behind USO?

Mine was cancelled today also. My thinking is they want the 14 day cushion to make sure there’s no major outbreak from Universal opening since that is the incubation period. I can’t blame them for being cautious, and to be honest, I think I will be a lot less stressed on the beach trip I booked as a backup rather than running around the parks. I just wish they would announce a date and go with it, even if it’s several weeks away. It’s the cycle of planning and canceling that got on my nerves.

At least I had crappy FP for the June trip. Perhaps I will get better ones for August.

I wonder if Disney does Florida only through June and cancels the rest of June reservations for that purpose? Or they may go resort only at first and are planning to be 2 weeks later than Universal. Those are my 2 best guesses.
