This makes no sense. The water park will open but not Jurassic park? Chlorinated water kills the virus and even in natural water in large pools it is extremely unlikely.

I wonder if Disney does Florida only through June and cancels the rest of June reservations for that purpose? Or they may go resort only at first and are planning to be 2 weeks later than Universal. Those are my 2 best guesses.

I am a Florida Resident and passholder. I would have thought that if they were doing something restricted to resort only or Florida only, or like UO for passholder only, I would have received a different email than a flat cancellation. I don’t know for sure what they are thinking, especially since there were reports (whether true or not) of some people removing masks after they entered DS. That kind of behavior, even if it’s just a misinformed report, won’t encourage Disney to open earlier. PR is everything to them and they only get one chance at reopening the parks.

I heard it as just water elements on rides (like mist) not actual water rides like jurassic.
