Hello all, brand new here so I apologize in advance if this has been discussed before.
We are going to UO for 10 days in October 2015 and I found this ticket option on undercovertourist. Is this the best bet price wise for 2 adults and 2 children (4 and 6 year old). We want to be able to visit both parks anytime, multiple times a day if we want.
The final price for 4 tickets is: $782

Again any help would be awesome. I have learned sooo much from these boards in my short time of being a member. Thanks to everyone.

what is the breakdown on the UT site for adult/children park tickets?
if you are a member of mousesavers, there will be a special link in the newsletter that is sent on on the 15th of each month.
more of a discount for tickets.

the price you listed, is it a park to park ticket pass?

i haven't seen black out dates for october for those using the power pass.

check the uo website and get the price they list for.

ap will allow park switching and park entrance.

i still have my mousesaver newsletter for this month that shows the link to the discounted tickets.
later, but not tonight, i will look over that to see which ticket deal you are talking about.
if you buy one preferred ap, you buy the rest of the tickets the family needs for the power passes.

once i have those figures, i could tell you which one would be the most finiancil deal for you to buy.

i go for 13 days every october and use my preferred annual pass for park entrance. the preferred also other perks.

I looked at AP prices for 4 people and it was way more money than the above. I found the same offer on Tickets at Work for a few bucks cheaper.
$756.92 - This gets 2 adults and 2 kids into both UO parks and Wet N Wild for 14 consecutive days. I would love to see what you find out based off that link.

Which ticket are you referring to? I don't see any specific ticket mentioned in your original post.

The 3 park ticket is probably your best bet.

If your booking a Universal on site hotel, I would say get one ticket that's a Preferred Pass and . It does increase your cost for the tickets (about $140), but what you will save is in places like food and your Resort reservation. With your family size, it would save you a couple hundred dollars in Room and Food discounts.

Just as a heads up for even more savings, the power pass will get you the same room discounts and a AAA card will get you pretty much the same food discounts. You just have to make sure that there aren't power pass blackout days for your dates.

again appreciate the advice. Here is my trip breakdown. Would LOVE feedback on it and if there are areas for me to improve let me know (save money :))
2 Adults & 2 kids (4 and 6)

Cabana Bay - 10/5 to 10/14 - Tower Suite - $1265.83
3-Park Unlimited Universal Ticket (14 days for all 3 parks) - $756.92
This ticket gets all 4 of us in both parks anytime for 14 consecutive days.

Annual pass rates won't be posted until next summer-ish but that might get you a better deal. Because you are staying for so long and should be getting the stay more save more rate, the AP rate will be very similar to the one you're getting. However, you can book that rate and then if a better rate comes up, you simply call and have your rate altered.

You can check for AP rates by entering the code APH in the code box on the website. If it doesn't actually say "Annual Pass Rate", what you are seeing is just the standard nightly rate. Do some experimenting with rates that might be available right now (spring rates) to check the differences.

Ah, now I understand why you weren't looking at the AP. It wasn't clear, what kind of ticket you had found, in the first post.

It's a great price. It gets you into Wet&Wild (that's the third park). But just in case you fall madly in love with UO, those tickets canNOT be upgraded to an AP.

And if you found an AP rate at the resort to change to later, the person who buys the AP would have to then buy separate admission to Wet&Wild, if the family wanted to go.

Worth knowing the ups and downs either way.
