Universal Orlando - AAA Discount for Annual Pass

About six weeks ago there was the following reply posted on the board by lisag1 -

"If you're a member of the AA you can get an AAA card and at the moment they're offering the normal annual pass for $109!!!! No blackout dates - fantastic value!!"

Today I phoned Universal Studios to confirm this. The guy who answered the call (who seemed very knowlegable on the subject) said there was no AAA discount on annual passes. The only discount was on the 2 or 3 day passes.

If anyone has bought one of these annual passes for $109 I would be interested to hear from you. We are going in January and are looking to buy our annual passes soon.

this was certainly available last year - but you had to buy them at a AAA office, not at Universal - I know a few people here got them

You can get the annual passes from the universal site at $99 plus tax and delivery, its a really god deal.

They definately are still on sale as we bought 5 AP's from AAA last week!!!!

They aren't advertised at all on the Universal site but on the AAA site and you must have a AAA discount pass and I was also told to take my AA card as my AAA discount card didn't have a name on it. They also have a whole load of discounts for other attractions.

They were a godsend on holiday as we saved $8.00 per day parking, got 20% off merchandise (except for kiosks) and also got between 10 - 20% discount on all restaurants. We saved a fortune!!!

Did you buy them from the AAA office on Colonial Drive? And did they give you the actual ticket or just a voucher to exchange at the park?

Hi Becky,

We got vouchers from the AAA office in Kissimmee and took them to Universal where they give you a plastic pass with your photo on.
