We are planning our second Disney trip for Sept. We have DD9 & DS5. My son is obsessed with super heroes so I was wondering if it was worth doing a day trip to Universal? He is very small at only 40" currently. What are the opportunities to see super heroes? Which park is best for these ages? Any help is appreciated!!

Watch this youtube video of the Superhero Cavalcade and see if it would interest him...

You can also have a meet and greet with Spiderman in his special photo-op location.

This is at Islands of Adventure.

IOA is perfect for fans of super heroes.....any age. They are out regularly and appear on motorbikes at different times of the day. Photo ops are excellent.

Have a look at universalorlando.com

This will give you a better idea of what each park has and whether your children will like them or not, as you know your children best :)

It's very confusing to me. We will probably only have time for one day at Universal so I was going to pick one park. Looking at the website, it seems there are more rides for my kids at Universal Studios, but more super hero stuff at IOA. Is it worth the extra money to do both parks in one day? And can it be done? We will be there the week of Labor Day.

IOA has Seussland too, which is geared towards kids. We're two adults and spend more time at US than IOA, IOA only took us about a half day. Are your kids into Harry Potter? I think the two park ticket is worth it if you'll be doing the Potter stuff, but if not, I'd probably stick with IOA.
