Universal on Christmas

We will be at Universal and IOA Dec. 21-26. This will be our first time to be there on Christmas. Lst year, we arrived at Universal on Dec. 26 and left Jan 4. How are the crowds the days before and on Christmas? Last year, we were miserable at the Magic Kingdom on Christmas Day. We are trying to decide if we should skip the parks Christmas Day and just hang out at the HRH. I would love to hear from those who have spent Christmas in the parks. Thanks.

It tends to get busy starting on the 26th. Christmas day isn't particularly crowded unlike Magic Kingdom on Christmas day.
