Universal Newbie----I need help please

We leave tomorrow---I know----the hurricane---but anyway---we have saturday and sunday for our first ever Universal days----we will then be jumping over to Disney for the remainder of our stay. We will be staying Saturday night at the Royal Pacific so we will have early admission. Unless mother nature changes things----Universal has early opening at 7 am on Saturday morning that we are planning on being at---Just in the little that I have researched---my plan is to do Harry Potter section over there from 7-8 and Despicable Me then do Rip Ride Rocket/Transformers/Revenge of the Mummy etc. then head to the Hogwarts Express and ride it over to IoA as soon as it opens and hit the stuff over there----Namely Harry Potter things/hulk/spider man as the main ones-----is there anything that stands out as not doable that I have listed----anything I should throw in that I haven't? Thanks for all of your advice!!!

With the express pass you'll be able to get everything done, no worries!!!! (except the weather)

Everything (weather wise) should be cleared out by Saturday and even better, the crowds should be pretty low! With early entry and the free Express Passes, you will be able to get a TON done. Here's a video where our family of 4 did all the Express Pass rides in one day:

You might need a bit more than an hour for Diagon Alley (Harry Potter at Universal Studios). Since you have two days, you may want to just concentrate on Harry Potter for most of the one day and then pick up the Express rides that you didn't have time for on the first day on the second day.

You might not be able to get all that done at the Studios before 9 if you insist on getting the first train to IOA. But you have a second day to return and ride what you may miss. Enjoy your visit.
